• Editor-in-chief and founder of Debiuty Akademickie academic series, deputy editor of Applied Linguistics journal, member of the editorial team of Studi@ Naukowe academic series and Neophilological Quarterly journal She received her doctorate (2009) from the University of Warsaw for her PhD thesis on psycholinguistic aspects of translation teaching. She has been awarded several research scholarships, both national and international. Her research interests include eye tracking experiments in the field of translation studies and linguistics. Currently she carries out eye tracking experiments that are focused on the sight translation process, especially on the specificity of reading and comprehension during sight translation (and a cognitive load related to this process). She is also a research supervisor of the project, which is aimed at building multilingual eye tracking reading corpora. Her current interests include participation in projects that are focused on the influence of digital reading on the cognitive load, attention and visual perception.
