José Antonio Cordón García

José Antonio Cordón García is a professor at the University of Salamanca since 1987. His teaching and research has been devoted to the study of Publishing and the History of the Book in its most contemporary aspect, and particularly to aspects edition and the digital readout. Matters on which has published monographs and scientific articles in national and international journals. He has been director of the Master of Publishing University of Salamanca and the Master Executive in editorship of the University of Salamanca and the University of Applied Sciences in Peru. Currently he is director of the Master in Digital Humanities Textual Heritage (http://diarium.usal.es/masteriemyr/) and the Institute for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (IEMYR). He is director of DINLE: Digital Dictionary of new Reading and Writers Forms (http://dinle.eusal.es/)
He has been National Research Award 2012, Edit and knowledge society, for the play “The ecosystem of the university electronic book”.

He is director of Recognized Research Group (GIR) E-LECTRA: Publishing and Electronic Reading, Transfer and Automated Information Retrieval (http://electra.usal.es/). Representative of the University of Salamanca in the Network of Universities Readers (http://universidadeslectoras.org/) and scientific advisor to the Project Territorio Ebook (http://territorioebook.fundaciongsr.com/) from the Germán Sánchez Ruiperez Foundation. Member of the Scientific Council of the Union of University Publishing.
He is a lecturer at numerous universities and national and international institutions.
