Position Paper
Rapid development of handheld computers and possibilities of their displays set new challenge for font designing process, regarding text readability on these devices.
I’m interested in exploring how digitalization affects the number of readers. Did digitization increase or a decrease the total number of readers?
Do people prefer a digital device in which, for example, fit a lot more books or prefer to feel under the fingers touch of the paper that is still much ‘’warmer’’ than the device. Does the device more suited to the ergonomics of the human body than the paper?
