Position Paper
In light of the focus of WG1, I am particularly interested in how students react to paper vs. a digital device, how that helps them process information and allows them to retain knowledge. What do they prefer for sientific work or information seeking – paper or digital device? How likely are they to prefer paper vs. a digital device? How do paper properties influence their mind, abbility of reading, understanding and remembering? Will size, color, optical properties, touch and feel of paper make a difference for them? The possibilities are endless.
