WG interest and Scientific programme:
- Emotional responses to various genres of literary texts
- Responses to the way in which channels of communication influence reading comprehension (traditional paper based versus computer based reading)
- Connection between literacy and reading comprehension strategies applied
- he role of diary studies in eliciting emotional responses to types of texts and reading strategies
Action objectives:
- To explore in an open-ended way the unobservable factors related to reading comprehension
- To understand the complex relationships between various channels and reading strategies employed
- To identify and formulate possible hypotheses for further testing
- To assess the role and opportunity of diary studies as a research method
