Bilateral Free Trade Agreements

On 17 July 2018, the world`s largest bilateral agreement between the EU and Japan was signed, which reduces or ends tariffs on most of the $152 billion worth of goods traded. It will enter into force in 2019, after ratification. The deal will hurt U.S. car and agriculture exporters. Turkey has concluded bilateral and multilateral agreements with: the preface (other languages), published in November 2020 by Sabine Weyand, Director-General of DG Trade, presents the fourth EU report on the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement (other languages) on the successes achieved in 2019 and on the ongoing work for the 36 main EU preferential trade agreements.
